FAQ
How many flashcards does it generate per article?
Typically 5-15 cards per article depending on length and density. You can set a preferred count in the extension settings (5, 10, or 20 cards).
Does it work on paywalled articles?
The extension reads only the text visible on screen. If you have access to an article (via subscription), it will work. It cannot bypass paywalls.
Can I edit the generated flashcards?
Yes. Every card is editable before you save the set. You can delete cards, rephrase questions, or add your own cards to the set.
Does it work on PDF documents in Chrome?
Yes — PDFs opened in Chrome's native viewer are supported. Upload a paper and generate cards in one click.
How is this different from Anki with a browser plugin?
Anki plugins let you manually create cards. Webpage Flashcards uses AI to read the content and write the questions for you — the entire set is generated automatically in about 5 seconds.
