How is the trust score calculated?
The score is calculated from domain age, SSL certificate validity, presence in phishing databases, website content analysis (urgency language, fake urgency counters), contact information presence, and social proof signals.
Does it protect me in real time while browsing?
On the free tier, you manually click to check. Pro users can enable auto-check mode, which silently scores every new site you visit and alerts you if the trust score is below a threshold you set.
Can it detect email phishing attempts?
Yes. Copy and paste any suspicious email text or paste the sender's email address into the Pro email checker to get a risk analysis.
What if it flags a site I know is legitimate?
No tool is perfect. A legitimate new business may score lower due to a young domain. Use the detailed report to understand what triggered the flags. You can report false positives to help us improve.
